STUDENT ORGANIZATION

Student Government Association (SGA)

Student Government Association (SGA) is an essential organization that helps determine the needs (and wants) of the student body and responds by organizing events, services, and initiatives. SGA uses a parliamentary process to vote on action items. Involvement in SGA is a great way to get to know peers, enhance your resume, and learn valuable leadership skills (i.e., running meetings, event planning, democratic processes, stakeholder and capacity building, professional communication, and fiscal management).

Leadership. Involvement. Impact.

It’s election time at RVCC! This is your chance to step into a leadership role and make a real difference on campus. Whether you’re passionate about student advocacy, organizing events, or bringing positive change to our college community, running for a Student Government position offers valuable experience and the opportunity to represent your fellow students.

Declare your interest by Friday, April 10th using the SGA Officer Candidacy Form Link.

SGA Monthly Meetings

All Students are invited and encouraged to attend! If you want to be involved with SGA but do not want to be considered for an officer position, that is ok! Simply attend the meetings when the dates are posted. We need everyone on board to continue making RVCC the special place that it is.
