Graduate Statement

A special part of our commencement ceremony is the personalized statement read as each student crosses the stage. We encourage including expressions of gratitude and your future employment or career plans. See examples below for suggestions.

Example #1: "Jennifer wants to thank her family for supporting her throughout the program and will be continuing to work for Anonymous Hospital, accepting a position as an LPN. She hopes to continue on to achieve her RN through the River Valley ADN program."

Example #2: "I plan to continue working at ACME Inc. where I have worked for the past six years. I would like to thank my family, friends, and classmates for the love and support during this long journey."
